Diagnostic Tool

1. General x-ray

3. Electroencephalogram: EEG

4. CT Scan

A computerized tomography (CT) scan is a highly effective tool that can provide clear 2-D and 3-D images of human body.

  • Detection of organ abnormalities
  • Detection of tumors of various locations and sizes
  • Detection of tumor metastases to nearby lymph nodes
  • Detection of congestion in the brain, abdomen, and pelvis
  • Detection of vascular abnormalities such as aortic aneurysms, blood clots, etc.
  • Detection of joints and bone abnormalities such as fractures, dislocation, etc.

5. Ultrasound

  • Examination of organs inside abdominal cavity using high frequency to identify any abnormalities in liver, pancreas, spleen, gallbladder, kidney, bladder as well as general abdomen and vessels
  • Detection of abnormalities such as kidney stones
  • Examination to confirm and other testing of a lump
  • Examination of pelvic such as uterus, uterine tube
  • Detection of fetal abnormalities
  • Facilitate draining of secretions and pus, or sampling suspected tissues for further diagnosis and treatment

6. 4D Fetal Ultrasound offers the following benefits

  • Can offer clear visibility of face, arms, legs, and genitals
  • Can monitor fetal behaviors such as movement of arms and legs or yawning
  • Can be examined throughout pregnancy
  • Guaranteed by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicin to have no affect on the fetus
  • Appropriate age rage to undergo the 4D Ultrasound is between 26-32 weeks
  • Factors affecting the 4D Ultrasound include gestational age, fetal position, and volume of the amniotic fluid

7. Digital Mammogram

The Digital Mammogram has the following benefits

  • Patients receive low radiation exposure
  • Can clearly distinguish different types of fat and tissues of the breast
  • Able to detect changes that occur during the early stages of cancer which increases success for treatment
  • Offer highly accurate results

8. Electrocardiogram: EKG

Electrocardiogram (EKG) is a tool that examine abnormalities of the heart including

  • Myocardial ischemia
  • Thickening of the heart muscle (myocardium)
  • Blood clot
  • Abnormal heartbeats

9. Echocardiogram

Echocardiogram can examine the following conditions of the heart 

  • Movements of the heart wall
  • Volume of the blood being pumped at each compression as well as thickness and pathology of the pericardial sac
  • Congenital heart diseases
  • Congenital heart valve disease
  • Myocardial infarction
  • Pericardium

10. Exercise Stress Test : EST

A diagnostic cardiac stress test is done, while a patient walks on a treadmill, to assess if there is any decreased blood flow and oxygen to the heart muscle as the body’s oxygen usage increases.
